This tour will give you a quick but consistent insight of Hoi An Ancient Town and allow you to get in touch with your creative side, as well as providing you with the opportunity to take part in an important aspect of the Vietnamese culture. We will stop by the house of a lantern craftsman. There, you can first observe the lantern craftsman’s technique before hands-on practice through each stage of lantern making under the guidance of the enthusiastic craftsmen: from bending it into frame, cutting cloth, gluing, and completing lanterns. Before this trip concludes, you will have your own lantern created by your own hands. This is the perfect souvenir for you to show off upon your return home. It is always a good idea to get the body moving in the morning, which is why this tour will begin with an exciting bicycle ride to a local farm in Tra Que Village. Here, you will have an introduction to the history of the village. The short lesson does not stop with a brief introduction to the village’s history, but it also provides a lot of fun information, such as the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Other activities will include: raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens, and much more. After spending time with the farmers, we will use the rest of the morning working the land in a timely way before breaking to prepare some special foods with a local family. You will enjoy the “Tam Huu” spring roll and “Banh Xeo”, the local pancake from the central region. This tour gives you a real life glimpse into the traditional living of the people of this village. Day 1:

Your day will begin with departure for Ba Na. Ba Na is 1,487 m above sea level and known as the second Da Lat or Sapa of Vietnam. Here you can enjoy 4 seasons within a day; not many places can make this claim making it a must see on the tourist circuit. When you arrive you will be greeted by monkeys and beautiful panoramic views. Ba Na also gives you the chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars. In the afternoon, we will visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels where North Vietnamese guerilla fighters lived and fought. Day 3: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha Cave – Hue/Da Nang/Hoi An
Our day will begin with breakfast before driving to Phong Nha Cave – a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 2003. Upon arrival, the group will travel by boat along the river to a complex of caves. After a short hike up the '300 steps', you will have the chance to explore these caves with their hundreds of glistening stalactites (rock structures hanging from cave ceiling) and stalagmites (rock structures erected from cave floor) in various shapes and sizes. We will continue our journey sailing down the river and into a limestone mountain cave. Inside the cave, you can leave the boat and walk through the stalactites and stalagmites before returning to Hue, Da Nang or Hoi An.
